Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Rob, a husband and a father first, with pretty much everything else I do built around that.

Four things have stayed steady through every version of my career: faith, family, health, and wanting an actual adventurous life with the people I love, not just a vacation once a year. Those four things are still the reason behind all of this.

Before network marketing, I worked as a wilderness therapist, a school counselor, a restaurant manager, and in automotive sales. Different rooms, different paychecks, but the same thread ran through all of it: I've always been the guy trying to help the person in front of him.

By 2017, I was stuck. Good job, steady paycheck, same routine every day, and barely anything left over for my family by the time I got home. My health and my mindset needed work too, and none of that was going to fix itself while I kept doing the same thing.

That's what pushed me into network marketing.

The way I was taught to build it was old school: make a list of 100 people, message everyone you know, and keep following up until they said yes or blocked you. I ran that playbook for a while. It worked, some. It also burned through real relationships faster than it built my business, and I knew there had to be a better way to do this without costing me people I cared about.

The company itself turned out to be part of the problem too. The products were solid, but between the product cost and the auto-ship requirements just to stay active, a lot of the people I brought in couldn't hang on long enough to get anywhere close to profitable.

I watched good, hardworking people quit, not because they lacked grit, but because the math never worked in their favor before they had a real shot at seeing it pay off.

That's when I went looking for something different, not just a better way to market, but a better model to build on. I found two things around the same time: attraction marketing, and a membership-based model that costs less than a tank of gas to get started, low enough that nobody has to put real money on the line just to take a shot at it. The pay runs weekly and monthly too, so people aren't waiting six months to find out if any of this is even working.

Once people started coming to me instead of the other way around, rejection mostly stopped being part of the equation.

The shift wasn't really about new tactics. It came back to the same thing that's always been true about me: showing up with real value for people builds trust, and trust is what actually grows a business.

Once the right systems were in place, the business stopped running my schedule and started running on its own, which was the whole point of starting it in the first place. Time with my family was the goal the entire time, not something I'd get around to eventually.
